Back problem

I had an operation 9 years ago for a prolapsed disc...ever since I get intermittent bouts of inflammation in the area ...very painful. I've done all the painkillers...rubs etc....anyone got any ideas how to help this problem.

Hi Sarah...yeah I've tried all that...I think I need to be recycled....some things work for a while but it always seems to come back again

OMG Liam, my husband has a prolapsed disc at the bottom of his spine from a car accident 3 years ago, he is waiting for surgery, he is on lots of different medication and is still in agony.  The bone is trapping his nerve too, so he suffers a lot of problems with his legs too.

I know taking Ibuprofen is meant to help with inflamation, have you tried those.  I am not sure where you are, but have you seen a pain management specialist, Mark saw one recently and they are giving him an epidural pain block soon.
